Watford vs Arsenal: Team News, Probable Lineups & Best Dream 11 Combination

Watford Stadium

High flying Watford welcome Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal at Vicarage Road in the Premier League’s late kick-off on Saturday.

The Hornets had a strong start to the campaign and are only a point behind the Gunners, so it won’t be a cakewalk for Wenger’s men. The North London Giants need to show their class as they currently are six points behind the Manchester duo.

Let’s jump straight into the Team News.

Watford Team News:

Manager Marco Silva expressed concerns over the fitness of Ande Carrillo (who is on loan from Benfica) for the visit of Arsenal. Isaac Success, the Nigerian forward has been ruled out for eight weeks due to a knee injury and Sebastian Prodl remains a doubt and Younes Kaboul with a hamstring injury is sidelined.

Probable XI: Gray, Richarlison, Cleverley, Carrillo, Capoue, Doucoure, Holebas, Femenia, Mariappa, Kabasele, Gomes.

Arsenal Team News:

Wenger will evaluate Alexis Sanchez’s physical and mental condition ahead of the visit to Vicarage Road. Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil both are available overcoming their groin and knee injury respectively. Mustafi will be out for four to six weeks due to a thigh strain, Kolasinac and Koscielny will be given late fitness tests. Chambers, Coquelin and Cazorla remain out.

Probable XI: Cech, Holding, Koscielny, Monreal, Kolasinac, Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Sanchez, Iwobi/Ozil, Lacazette.
