Japan vs Brazil: Team News, Probable Lineups & Best Dream 11 Combination

Lille Stadium-min

Asian powerhouse Japan will travel to France to take on 5-time World Champions Brazil in an International Friendly match in Lille today. With both teams having already qualified for the FIFA World Cup in Russia next year, this friendly gives their managers optimum room to try out different players, strategies and combinations.

Anyhow, let us get straight into the team news.

Japan Team News:

Japan’s European stars Shinji Kagawa and Shinji Okazaki will miss the match against Brazil. However, Makoto Hasebe will make a return to the starting XI. Keisuke Honda and Yasuyuki Konno are also missing.

Probable XI: Kawashima, Sakai, Shoji, Yoshida, Nagatomo, Hasebe, Yamaguchi, Ideguchi, Inui, Asano, Osako.

Brazil Team News:

The big news coming out of the Brazil camp is that Liverpool star midfielder Philippe Coutinho will miss the match against Japan due to injury. Willian is likely to replace him in the starting XI. Giuliano will start in place of Renato Augusto.

Confirmed XI: Alisson, Thiago Silva, Jemerson, Danilo, Marcelo, Casemiro, Fernandinho, Giuliano, Willian, Neymar Jr., Gabriel Jesus.
