India and New Zealand resume their rivalry in the 2nd ODI at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Wednesday. In 1st ODI in Mumbai, India succumbed to a shock defeat as New Zealand chased down a target of 280 runs with one over to spare.
The hosts will be looking to bounce back in the 2nd ODI in Pune on a track which is expected to assist the spin bowlers.
Here is the team news for the upcoming clash.

India Team News
The Indian bowlers and batsmen, with the exception of Virat Kohli, endured a frustrating day in Mumbai as India lost out to the Kiwis. Virat Kohli and the Indian team management are not known to tinker too much with their starting XI and are hence expected to field the same team as they did in the 1st ODI.
Probable XI: Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kedar Jadhav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya.
New Zealand Team News
New Zealand would not want to tinker too much with their winning combination in the 2nd ODI in Pune. While Trent Boult and Tim Southee were very impressive, Adam Milne struggled to keep his line and length in check. Given Pune’s spin-friendly track, Ish Sodhi may come in for the Kiwi fast bowler.
Probable XI: Ross Taylor, Tim Southee, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson (c), Adam Milne/Ish Sodhi, Colin de Grandhomme, Colin Munro, Trent Boult, Tom Latham (wk), Mitchell Santner, Henry Nicholls.
