Team News & Match Tips – GRD vs GEF:
- Getafe star striker Jaime Mata is suspended for this clash. Arambarri and Maksimovic are also out injured.
- Antonio Puertas is suspended for Granada while Neyder Lozano, Quini, Álex Martínez and Montoro are all out injured.
- My Verdict: Getafe are having a great season so far. They are in the Last 16 of the UEFA Europa League for the very first time in their history after eliminating Ajax. They are currently 5th in the La Liga table.
- Granada are currently 9th in the league table. It has been an excellent campaign for Granada who usually battle relegation fears at this point of the season.
- League position and recent form make Getafe slight favourites to win this match. However, it has been more than 3 months since coronavirus forced La Liga to be suspended. However, both teams are not known for scoring goals and we may see a low scoring match.
