Team News & Match Tips:
- Ajax have made an excellent start to their Champions League campaign with a 3-0 win over Lille and a 3-0 win at Valencia.
- No major injury concerns for Ajax.
- Ross Barkley, N’Golo Kante, Antonio Rudiger, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Emerson Palmieri are out injured for Chelsea.
- Pedro is not part of the Chelsea travelling squad.
- H2H: Ajax and Chelsea have never met in a competitive fixture before.
- My Verdict: Ajax have looked leaky in their domestic league but in the Champions League they are yet to concede a goal. Ajax always raise their game against the big teams in big occasions. Ajax are also in excellent form and their players have more experience at this level than their opponents. Chelsea possess enough firepower to trouble the Ajax defence. But without Kante, they might find it difficult to contain Ajax’s formidable attack.
